Olsen Windcarrier AS, has today entered into agreements with Lamprell Energy Ltd. for the construction of two transport -and installationvessels for offshore wind turbines with option for additional two vessels. The vessels will be built at the Jebel Ali yard in Dubai with contracted deliveries in 2nd and 3rd quarter 2012, respectively. The contract price is about USD 160 million per vessel.
08.10.2009 Deep Sea Supply has ordered a PSV The new PSV 09 CD design, optimized for eco-drive in all weather conditions, is designed by STX Europe in Norway. The vessel is scheduled for delivery in Q1 2012, and will be built at STX Europe in Brazil.
28.09.2009 Siem Offshore has entered into a LoI with Petrobras for 2+1 year charter for two of its mid-sized PSVs for Black Sea. The vessels will support the “Leiv Eriksson”. The contract is scheduled to commence in fourth quarter 2009, and the dayrate is believed to be abt. US$ 17,000.
04.07.09 Oceanteam has today confirmed that the 5 year charter of OCV "North Ocean 102" to CICSA in Mexico is cancelled.09 Farstad Shipping ASA has entered into an agreement to buy the PSV Sical Torino of VS 470 Mk II design. The purchase price is approx. NOK 150 mill. Delivery will take place during this month.
01.09 Tidewater Inc. has purchased "Aquanos Enabler" of Aker PSV/ROV 06CD design, currently under construction at STX Europe, Brevik. The vessel is expected to deliver in January 2010. The purchase price is reportedly about USD 65 mill.
05.09 Karmsund Maritime has received an order for 2 x VS design offshore vessels from an unnamed Far East company. Del. end. 2010. Contract price is 1.2 billion NOK.

03.06 Petrobras has signed new contracts for 12 newbuild drilling rigs on a charter party basis for use in ultra-deepwaters. Due to the lack of capacity in Brazilian shipyards, the 12 rigs will be built overseas and delivered for operation by the middle of 2012.
27.05 GulfMark announce they have purchased 100% of Rigdon Marine Corporation. The fully financed purchase price is abt. US$ 570 million. Rigdon Marine today consists of 29 modern PSVs and crew boats (including vessels under construction).

28.04 Subsea 7 has placed an order for 1 x pipelay/construction vessel at Merwerde Shipyard. Delivery scheduled 3Q 2010. The overall project cost is about USD 190 mill.

05.02 Deep Sea Supply's AHTS "Sea Leopard" has been fixed to ENI Libya for 2 years. The total value of the contract is approx. 17 million Euros.The vessel is presently mobilizing to Libya.
21.12 Vroon Group has agreed terms to acquire Nomis Shipping Ltd, UK. The transaction is expected to close early January 2008. Nomis will continue to operate from its offices in Aberdeen and Singapore with its existing management team in place. The vessels will be rebranded in Vroon's colors and reneamed with the prefix "VOS" replacing the existing "Dea".
20.12 Havila Shipping ASA has today entered into an agreement with Marsk Olie & Gas for providing 2 x PSV Havyard 832 CD design for a period of 5 y firm + 3 x 1 y opt. Comm. summer/autumn 2009.
20.12 Solstad Offshore ASA has entered into a contract with Bergen Group for building of 1 x CSV of ST 256 L CD for delivery September 2010. The value of the contract is approx. NOK 720 million.
17.12 Boa Offshore AS has entered into an agreement for the acqusition of an AHTS of UT 722 design currently under construction. The vessel has a bp of 165t, 560m2 deck area and full under-deck capacities. Delivery is scheduled for March 2008.
06.12 Sartor Shipping AS has been awarded a 10 year contract with Gaz de France for provision of a multi role vessel. The vessel will be of VS design and will deliver during 2010.
26.11 Simon Møkster Shipping has placed an order for a PSV of Havyard 832CDRS design with Simek, Norway. The vessel will have DP 2, FiFi, NOFO 2005, 78,6m loa, 17,6m beam and 755m2 deck are. The contract price is approximately NOK 295 mill and delivery is scheduled for October 2009.
The vessel has been fixed to BP, Norway for 5 years for about NOK 130,000.
21.11 AHTS "Ocean Knarr" (built 1985 - 8,640 bhp) has today been delivered to its new owners Polskie Ratownictwo Okretowe. The vessel is on contract to StatoilHydro until September 2008.
06.11 Hallin Marine, UK has ordered a DP 2 Subsea vessel, 80m loa, 20m beam and 50t crane, from Drydocks World Singapore (Pan-United) with delivery expected during 2Q 2010. The vessel will be named "Windermere" and the contract price is USD 49,6 million.
05.11 DOF Installer has exercised its option for a 4th AHTS of AKER AH 04CD design from Aker Yards with delivery during 1st half of 2011. The contract price is NOK 765 million.
05.11 DOF ASA has entered into an agreement with Taubåtkompaniet AS for acquisition of half of the shares of DOF Boa AS. The other shares already belongs to DOF. DOF Boa AS owns the AHTS vessels Skandi PMS I and Skandi PMS II, which are under contract with Burullus in Egypt. Commercial conditions of agreement are confidential.
01.11 "K" Line Offshore has signed a contract with Aker Yards for 4 x PSV of AKER PSV 06CD design with deliveries during 4thQ 2010 and 3rdQ 2011. The vessels will have 94,9m loa, 20m beam, 5,100 dwt and accommodation for 25 persons. The contract price is NOK 1,4 billion total.
"K" Line has in addition 2 x AHTS of AKER AH 12 design under construction at Aker Yards.
30.10 Ezra Holdings Ltd has declared the opt. for building a second MFSV at Karmsund Maritime. The contract value is approx. NOK 620 million, delivery expected 2nd Q 2010.
30.10 Siem Offshore has exercised their opt. for building 2 xVS481CD 28,000BHP at Kleven Verft. Delivery ex yard 4th q 2010.These N/B contracts which priced at abt NOK 550 mill each, are being transferred to Singa Star. Siem's 10 and Singa's 2 will operate in a pool where Siem will be commercial manager. N/B supervision of all 12 vsls will be handled by Siem. Singa Star will become 11.82% shareholder in Siem Offshore.
25.10 StatoilHydro has been awarded a contract for 24% ownership at the Sthokman field.
23.10 Solstad Offshore has recieved a LOI from Integrated Subsea Services (ISS) for charter of the 1983 built ROV vessel Normand Tonjer. Comm. April 2008. Period 3 years firm + 2 x 1 y opt.
The value of the firm part of the contract is abt. NOK 210 mill.
19.10 Solstad Offshore has received a LOI from Saipem for provision of 4 x PSV for pipe transportation from 2nd half 2008 to end 2012. Saipem will use the vessels: Normand Aurora, Carrier, Vester and Flipper. The period is 3500 days firm + 1500 days opt. Operation area is Baltic and North Sea.
19.10 DOF ASA/Aker DOF Supply has placed an order at Cochin Shipyard for building 2 x Aker PSV 09 CD design. Contract value is abt. NOK 490 mill. Deilvery May and September 2010.
16.10 Siem Offshore Inc has entered into an agreement with Amber Navigation Company Limited for the sale of the standby vessel Ocean Knarr (built 1985) for a total amount of USD 10.5 million. The vessel will be delivered to the new owner in November 2007.
16.10 Havila Shipping Pte Ltd, Singapore has entered into a contract with Fjellstrand Shipyard, Norway for the construction of a PSV of Havyard 832CD design. Delivery is scheduled during fall 2009. Contract price NOK 260 mill.

26.09 Rem Offshore ASA has entered into an agreement with Norcapital to buy two ships under construction at Aker Aukra. The ships are of the UT755 LN design with delivery in February and March 2008. Buying price for the contracts is corresponding with a total value of approx NOK 400 million.
25.09 Trans Viking Icebreaking & Offshore has declared the options for a further two new builds at Astilleros Zamakona in Spain. The contract is for two large AHTS vessels of VS 4622 design and will be delivered in 02/2011 and 10/2011.The two options come in addition to the two vessels of same design which were ordered late last year.
25.09 Mosvold Supply has declared an option for the building of 2 x additional AHTS of VS 491CD design at Batamec yard in Indonesia. The contract value is abt. USD 167 mill. Scheduled del. Dec. 2010 and July 2011.
21.09 Whitesea, UAE has signed a contract for 3 + 3 AHTS with 100t bp, FiFI 1 and DP 2 with Astillero Rio Santiago, Argentina. Deliveries are scheduled between June 2009 and April 2010.
21.09 Eastern Echo, Cyprus has negotiated a LOI making it possible to build two more vessels for delivery in Q1 and Q2 2009 at Dubai Drydocks for USD 130 mill for each vessel. The company has also decided to upgrade vessels 1-4, currently under construction at Barreras, Spain, from 10 to 12 streamer capacity in order to increase operational efficiency.
17.09 Ezra Holdings has placed an order for 2 x AHTS VS 490 design (27,000 BHP) at Karmsund yard. Del. 2010. Contract value est. NOK 1.2 billion.
10.09 Deep Sea Supply has entered into an agreement for the purchase of 3 x Newbuilding contracts for abt. USD 100 mill. 1 x PSV of VS 470MKII design from Karmsund Shipyard, Norway with delivery in May.08 and 2 x AHTS from Singapore Yards with deliveries in December 2008 respectively March 2009.

15.08 Solstad has entered into a contract with Aker Yards for 1 x PSV/ROV 06 CD Design and 1 x Construction and Maintenance Vessel of OSCV 06 L design. The total value of the contracts is approximately NOK 1,4 billion. Deliveries are scheduled to 2/3Q 2010 respectively 1Q 2011.
10.08 DeepOcean has entered into a contract for 2 construction vessels from Active Subsea ASA. The first vessel will start the TC with Petrobras 1Q 2008 for 2+1 years, the second vessel will deliver during 2Q 2008 for 4 years bareboat charter.
09.08 UP Offshore, Bahamas has ordered 2 additional PSVs of VS 4408 design from Bharati Shipyard, India. Delivery June 09 + September 09, the contract price is reportedly USD 44 mill enbloc.
07.08 DeepOcean has won a contract with Reliance in India for Subsea work in Bay of Bengal E C India. Duration is 3 yrs firm + 2 x 1 y opt. Firm contract value is USD 166 mill and opt. contract value (if exercised) is an additional USD 118 mill. MSV “Rem Etive” has been chartered in from TS Marine to carry out the work from dec.2007.
06.08 DOF ASA has chartered 2 PSV's to Total E&P UK, both with a duration of 5 years starting Feb and Sept 2008 resp.These contracts will initially be operated by the 2xMT6000 design PSV's Skandi Buchan and Skandi Caledonia. Rates are abt 30 pct up from present rate levels

26.07 Aker Yards has entered into a contract with Portosalvo for 1 x PSV of Aker 09CD design. The contract price is approx. NOK 310 mill with delivery in 4Q 2010. Portosalvo has option for an identical vessel. The vessel will have 4,800 dwt, 86,6m loa, 19m beam, diesel electric propulsion and DP.
23.07 DeepOcean has entered into a contract with Volstad Maritime for a newbuild of ST 256L design, 120m loa with delivery 03/2009. The contract is a Ltd. partnership where DeepOcean will have 51% of the shares and an option for purchase of the vessel after 5 years. Volstad will be in charge of the technical and commercial aspects of the development and construction of the vessel.
23.07 Greatship Global Offshore Services has placed an order with Keppel Singmarine for 2 x MPSV with 4,600 dwt and DP2. The vessels are prepared for helideck and offshore crane. Deliveries are scheduled 2Q in 2009-2010.

13.07 DOF Subsea has entered into long term contracts with Aker Oilfield Services for 2 Subsea well Intervention vessels of AKER OSCV 06L and AKER OSCV 03 designs, both with deliveries during 2009 from Aker Yards. The vessels are owned by DOFCON which is a fully owned subsidiary of DOF Subsea. DOF Subsea will also deliver ROV's, survey services and marine management to Aker Oilfield services.
13.07 Helix Energy Solutions has entered into a 180 days well intervention vessel contract with Shell Exploration & Production Company for their MSV Q4000 over a 3 years period with options. Commencement is 1st January 2008.

09.07 Marine Subsea has ordered their second Construction vessel of ULSTEIN SX121 design from Ulstein Verft. The contract price is approx. NOK 900 mill and delivery will take place in 2010. The first vessel is scheduled for delivery in July 2009.
06.07 Farstad Shipping has entered into an agreement with Island Offshore for the purchase of Newbuild Hull No.62 currently under construction at Aker Brevik. The vessel is an an AHTS of UT 712L design with delivery in September 2008, and the purchase contract has a value of NOK 400 mill.

04.07 Eidesvik has entered into a NOK 1,3 billion contract with Ulstein Verft, Norway for 2 x Seismic vessels of ULSTEIN SX120 design.The ships are scheduled for delivery during spring 2010 and has been fixed for long-term contracts with CGG-Veritas.
22.06 GDV Subsea, Norway has ordered 2 x Multi-Role DSV from Bergen yard for approx. NOK 2 billion. One of the vessel will be of ST 254CD design with 95m loa, DP 2, 100t crane and accomm for 86 persons with delivery in 3Q 09. The other vessel is also ST Design but with 120m loa, DP 3, 150t crane and accom for 120 persons with delivery in 4Q 09.
22.06 Multraship, the Netherlands has purchased 2 x Newbuilding Azimuth Stern Drive Tugs with 70t bp. Deliveries in October 07 and April 08 from Vega Denizcilik Shipyard, Turkey.

13.06 Construction vessel "Normand Seven"/Solstad shipping was yesterday at Nor-Shipping awarded "Ship of the year 2007" by technical magazine "Skipsrevyen". The vessel is to be delivered from yard 6th of July, and will go on a contract with Subsea7 upon delivery.This is the largest vessel ever delivered from Ulstein.

(”Diavaz”) in the Gulf of Mexico for the charter of MPSV Aquanaut for 225 days from 27 February 2007 until 10 October 2007.The vessel will be used for maintenance work under a contract Diavaz has with Pemex. As a consequence of the agreement with Diavaz, DeepOcean has made an agreement with the owners of MPSV Aquanaut, Adams Offshore Ltd, to extend the charter of the vessel until 10 October 2007.

31.01 DeepOcean has the intention to enter into a frame agreement for survey services with Statoil ASA in and outside of Norway. The agreement start 15th March 2007 until March 2012 + 2 x 2 years options. Workscope includes seabed mapping, pipeline inspections, trenching support, construction and pipelay support. The intention is for DeepOcean to use "Edda Fauna".

21.12 Keppel Verolme, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Singapore’s Keppel Offshore & Marine, has won a €140 million ($184.6 million) contract from Norway’s MPU Enterprise to build a semi-submersible heavy lifter.
20.12 Maersk Supply Service has signed a contract for 4 + 2 upgraded A-Class AHTS from Volkswerft Stralsund, Germany. The vessels are scheduled for delivery from July 2009.
20.12 Sjóborg, the Faeroe Islands, has placed an order for 1 x PSV of Havyard 832 design at Solstrand Verft, Norway. Delivery of the vessel is scheduled for September 2008.
18.12 The Board of Directors of Hydro and Statoil have agreed to recommend to their shareholders a merger of Hydro's oil and gas activities with Statoil, creating the worlds largest offshore operator with a strengthened platform for future growth. The new company will have a combined production of 1.9 million barrels per day in 2007 and proven oil and gas reserves of 6.3 billion barrels of oil equivalents. Hydro will continue as a leading, focused global aluminium company.
18.12 Vroon has reportedly exercised an option for a DSV at ABG Shipyard, India. The contract price is about USD 21,6 million and delivery is expected in June 2009.

15.12 Trans Viking Icebreaking & Offshore has placed an order at Astilleros Zamakona for 2 x AHTS of VS 4622 design with option for two additional vessels. The vessels will have Ice 1A class, Clean Design, deice and 19,000 bhp. They will also be prepared for an A-frame or construction crane and have accommodation for 45 persons. Delivery will take place during 3Q 2009 and the second vessel 8 months later. The contract price is approximately NOK 435 million for each vessel.

13.12 Arrow Seismic has bareboat chartered 1 x multi-streamer seismic survey newbuilding to French CGG for 12 years. Delivery is schedueld for April 2009 and will be managed by Rieber Shipping.
08.12 Semi submersible heavylift vessel "Mighty Servant 3" sank yesterday morning after offloading the semisub "Aleutian Key" off the Angolan coast. All crewmembers are rescued and safe. The rig did not sustain any major damage. "Mighty Servant", however, is resting at the seabottom in 62 meter waterdepth.
The cause of the incident is not known at this time, but is being investigated.
07.12 ProdJack AS, a member of the Skeie Group, has ordered a US$ 371 million harsh environment jackup from Keppel FELS. The vessel will be delivered the end of the first quarter of 2010.
07.12 Aker Invest has sold its 34 percent shareholding in the Norwegian supply base and logistics company NorSea Group to the Eidesvik Invest group in Bømlo and the Simon Møkster group in Stavanger. The buyers have been NorSea Group co-owners for a number of years.
01.12 Sanco Holding, Norway has entered into a NOK 250 million contract with Vaagland Båtbyggeri for a seismic vessel with delivery during 1Q 2009. The price is exclusive seismic equipment. The vessel will be 80m loa, 16m beam and will be prepared for world wide operations with state of the art equipment for advanced seabed seismic survey. The vessel has been fixed to RXT (Reservoir Exploration Technology) for a long term charter.
29.11 Heerema Marine Contractors has announced the construction of a new crane vessel, 220m x 88m, at a price of USD 1 billion. The design of the vessels is at an early stage, and it will most likely be built in Korea or China. The lift capacity of the cranes is yet to be determined but will be comparable to the capacity of the Thialf, the largest crane vessel in the world with 14,200tons capacity.
29.11 Maersk Supply Service has signed a contract with Asenav, Chile for 2 x PSV’s of UT 745L design - DP2. Deliveries in 3Q 2009 and 3Q 2010. The contract includes options for additional two vessels. Main details of the vessels are deck area, 900m2 deck area, 4,400 dwt, 90,15m loa, 18,8m beam, 10,445 bhp.

The MT-6016L design vessel, will be capable of operating in 3000 M waterdepth. Delivery is Nov 2008. The cost of the 103,7 x 19,7 M vessel is about NOK 450 Mill. The vessel will be named "Fugro Synergy".
27.11 DOFCON entered into an agreement with Geo ASA for charter of a new building vessel of Aker OSCV 03 design. The Charter Period is 5 years firm. Delivery of the vessel will take place during the summer 2008. Geo will employ the vessel under a 6 year contract with Subsea 7 with Geo "TBN" (bnr.152) acting as forerunner from summer 2007.

17.11 Island Offshore, Ulstein Norway, has placed a newbuilding contract with Aker Yards Brevik for 1 x PSV of UT 776 CD design. Contract value approx. NOK 315 mill. Delivery scheduled for July 2009.
